Cookie policy

In short
- We place no cookies to make the site work, for statistics or for advertising.
- Our visit statistics are cookieless, so we do not recognise you and do not track you.
- That is why we never ask you for a cookie choice and you see no cookie bar.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website places on your device to remember who you are or how you use the site. The same rules apply to similar techniques that store or read something on your device — what matters is the access to your device, not the word cookie.
Which cookies we place
None — not to function, not for statistics, and not for advertising. What the spam check on our forms may put on your device is described further down; that is the only thing.
Why you see no cookie bar
A cookie bar asks permission for what is not allowed without it. We do nothing that needs that permission, so there is nothing to ask — and a bar that asks for nothing only makes the site harder to use.
We measure our visit statistics with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It works without a cookie and without lasting identification: it counts visits, not visitors, and leaves nothing on your device to recognise you by on a later visit. Measuring this way is also what the Spanish supervisory authority exempts from consent as audience measurement: this site alone, for us alone, anonymous totals only, and no identifier that would recognise you elsewhere.
If we ever use something that does need your permission, that bar will appear and you will read about it here.
What else happens during your visit
Two things, both technical, neither of them to track you — and only one touches your device:
- Campaign details during your visit. If you arrive through an advert or a link carrying campaign details, we keep those in the page’s working memory so they travel with your request and we know which campaign produced it. Nothing is stored on your device: they last while you are on the site and go the moment you leave it or reload.
- The spam check on our forms. We protect our forms with Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a human. That check sets no cookie by default, but may place technical data on your device to do so.
Deleting cookies
We place nothing you need to clear, apart from what the spam check requires. To view, manage or clear cookies from other websites, use your browser’s settings.
Changes to this policy
If we start using other techniques, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change needs your permission, we will ask for it first.
