Which data we process
We only process what you give us yourself: your name, email address, phone number, the address of the property and the content of your message when you fill in the contact or quote form, email us or call us. For a price estimate you also provide details about your roof and your usage. Beyond that we collect anonymised visit statistics — but only if you consent to it (see the cookie policy).
What we use it for
We use your data exclusively to:
- get in touch with you about your enquiry or price estimate;
- provide a quote, survey and installation if you become a customer;
- meet our legal obligations (such as invoicing).
The legal basis is the performance of an (upcoming) agreement, the fulfilment of a legal obligation, or your consent (for the statistics).
Retention periods
We keep your enquiry for as long as it is needed for the contact and any engagement. If you become a customer, we keep the data for the statutory periods (including the fiscal retention obligation). Data we no longer need, we delete.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data and do not share it with third parties for marketing. We only engage processors that are needed for our services — our hosting party (Cloudflare) and, after your consent, Google (Google Analytics) — and sign processing agreements with them. For Google, data may be processed outside the EU (the United States), with the legal safeguards the GDPR requires for that.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict the processing, to object to it and to have your data ported. You may also withdraw any consent you have given at any time. Send your request to info@solar-fit.es — we respond within the statutory period (at most one month). If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Spanish supervisory authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD, www.aepd.es).
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures: the site runs entirely over https, form data is sent encrypted and we store no passwords or payment details ourselves.
Changes
We may amend this privacy policy if our services or the law require it. The date at the top indicates the latest version.
