The panel
Glass-glass only, never glass-foil
On the salt coast and in the heat, the panel makes the difference. Glass-glass has two layers of glass instead of a plastic backsheet (glass-foil). That makes the panel non-combustible, keeps moisture away from the cell and prevents micro-cracks. And because both sides are glass, they expand evenly in high heat — no stress on the cell, even at 40°C on the roof. More output over the years, and a 25 to 30-year product warranty.
