Certified solar electrician (self-employed)
You connect our solar installations to the consumer unit and certify them — as a self-employed, certified electrician (instalador habilitado) along the coast.

Solarfit is growing, and we're looking for a certified electrician — an instalador habilitado en baja tensión — to connect and certify our solar installations. The roof installer fits the panels, the inverter and the home battery and runs the cabling to the consumer unit; from that point you take over. You're the one who signs off the installation and legalises it.
What you'll do
- Connect the installation to the consumer unit — AC protection, surge protection and earthing, to the REBT.
- Replace or upgrade the consumer unit where it doesn't meet the standard.
- Configure the two-way-meter side and the installation for self-consumption (autoconsumo).
- Test the installation, commission it and hand it over working.
- Sign the CIE/boletín and the Memoria Técnica, and see to the legalisation with the GVA.
- Where you can, lend a hand and help the roof installer on site.
What you bring
- Instalador habilitado en baja tensión, categoría básica (IBTB) — you may connect and certify installations up to 10 kW.
- You can sign the boletín (CIE) and the Memoria Técnica yourself and legalise the installation with the GVA.
- Electrical training, for example Técnico en Instalaciones Eléctricas y Automáticas or an equivalent certificado de profesionalidad.
- Registered as autónomo (self-employed) with liability insurance, or willing to become so.
- You work neatly, safely and independently, and live in or around the work area.
Nice to have
- Categoría especialista (IBTE) — then you may also connect installations of 10 kW and above.
- Experience configuring self-consumption (autoconsumo).
- Experience with solar panels or a certificate in that field (montaje de instalaciones solares fotovoltaicas).
- Languages besides Spanish are a plus.
