Solar roof installer (self-employed)
You fit the glass-glass panels, the inverter and the home battery and run the cabling to the consumer unit — as a self-employed roof installer along the coast. The certified connection is done by our electrician.

Solarfit is growing, and we're looking for self-employed roof installers to keep up with the work along the coast. You fit the mounting structure and the glass-glass panels, install the inverter and the home battery, and run the cabling to the consumer unit — neat and safe, just as the customer expects of us. The certified connection to the consumer unit is done by our electrician.
What you'll do
- Fit the mounting structure and the glass-glass panels, neatly and watertight.
- Mount the inverter (Enphase or SolarEdge) and the home battery on the wall, and connect the panels and the battery to them.
- Run the cabling neatly and safely to the consumer unit.
- Work to the applicable standards, and deliver a clean end result.
- Coordinate the scheduling with the adviser and the electrician.
What you bring
- Demonstrable experience fitting solar panels.
- A working knowledge of the electrics (inverter and DC cabling); the certification we leave to our electrician.
- You work neatly, safely and independently, and have no trouble working at height.
- Your own tools and van, and registered as autónomo (self-employed) or willing to become one.
- You live in or around the work area.
Nice to have
- Experience with off-grid and battery systems.
- Your own crew is welcome, working solo is fine too.
- Languages besides Spanish are a plus.
