In short: efficient and remote, yet knowing exactly what you’ll get

At Solarfit we do most of it remotely — quickly, in your own language, without needing an adviser round straight away. You get a tailored quote with a layout of your own roof, we talk it through together by phone, and only once you’re happy do you sign — with a 14-day cooling-off period. Before installation, a technician always visits to survey everything. Here’s how it goes, step by step.

It starts with a chat

When you request a quote, we call you — and if you’d rather ring us yourself, we’ll pick up the conversation straight away. In that chat we listen to what you want: how much of your usage you’d like to cover, how many panels, whether you want grid-tied (hybrid) or fully off-grid, and whether you’d like a home battery or a charging point. We look at your budget too, so your system fits both your wishes and your pocket — and if you’d like to spread the cost, there are finance options. We also ask for a few photos — your consumer unit and your main connection — so we can put together an accurate quote. That way your quote is truly tailored, not off a template. At the end of that chat we arrange a time to talk your quote through together by phone shortly after.

Your remote quote — with a layout of your own roof

We design your installation with professional software: satellite imagery, elevation data and shade analysis map your roof to the centimetre. In the quote you’ll see exactly what’s coming — the layout on your roof, the electricity generated and the shade across the day. That software rarely differs from reality, so you know up front what you’ll get. Your quote reaches you by email, usually within 24 to 48 hours.

We talk the quote through together

At the arranged time — once you’ve had a proper look at the quote — we go through it together: your wishes, the layout and any questions. Unhurried, no pressure. Something not quite right, or you’d like to change something? We just do that, before you sign anything.

Signing without risk

Once you’re happy, you sign the quote digitally — you don’t need to leave the house. And you’re tied to nothing:

  • 14-day cooling-off period — from the moment you sign, you may cancel within 14 days without giving a reason;
  • the survey falls within that cooling-off period — a technician visits within 7 working days of your go-ahead, so you see the survey while you still have days of cooling-off left;
  • free to change or stop — the survey is mainly the assessment and going through the cable route together, and your quote usually stays as it is. If something material does change, or you’d like to add something yourself, you amend it at no cost or step out;
  • payment in stages — 30% on order, 60% once it works and the final 10% after your paperwork.

That way your signature isn’t a leap in the dark, but a well-protected go-ahead — even after the survey, you’re still not tied in.

The technical survey: we prepare your installation

Before installation — within 7 working days of your go-ahead — a technician always visits, usually for 30 to 60 minutes. Not to reopen the quote, but to prepare the job: we go through the cable route with you, decide where the inverter and the battery are best placed, and run through everything together once more. That way, on installation day, everything is ready and the fitting goes smoothly.

And then the installation

After your cooling-off period we schedule the fitting. Our team makes sure your installation is fitted neatly and safely — and we also arrange the legalisation, so your paperwork is in order. After that you simply follow your output live on your phone.

Why we do it this way

We work all along the Costa Blanca, from Torrevieja to Valencia. By doing most of it remotely, we move quickly — without you waiting weeks for an appointment. And because a tradesperson always visits before installation, you can be sure it’s right. Efficient where we can be, personal where it counts.

Request your free, no-obligation quote — and we’ll call you, in your own language, and explain what’s possible for your roof.
