The situation
The owner of a detached villa in Alfaz del Pi wanted to charge the electric car on the drive without driving up the electricity bill — with a battery for the evening, and ideally the whole thing handled in their own language.
Our story
How a detached villa in Alfaz del Pi got 14 JA Solar panels (6.5 kWp), a Huawei battery and a smart charging point — the car and the battery charge from its own solar first, all in one app and handled in your own language.
Chapter 2
The challenge
Tune the panels, a battery and the charging point so the solar surplus fills the car and the battery first, rather than being fed back cheaply to the grid — and have it all work together as one system.

Our approach
We fitted 14 JA Solar panels of 465 Wp, 6.5 kWp together, with a Huawei SUN2000 hybrid inverter (6 kW) and a Huawei LUNA2000 battery of around 10 kWh. To that we tied a Huawei Smart Wallbox that charges from the solar surplus first — inverter, battery and charging point in one app. The advice and the paperwork we handled in your own language.
