An all-electric villa on an urbanisation in the Orba valley behind Dénia had a hefty electricity consumption — heating, hot water and cooking all electric — and wanted the bill down sharply with as much of its own solar as possible.
Chapter 2
Draw a good part of the high all-electric consumption from its own solar, with a battery for the evening and the grid as backup, sized to the real consumption and legally handled — in the middle of a residential area, too.

We fitted 13 Sonnenstromfabrik panels of 490 Wp glass-glass full black, 6.4 kWp together, tied to a Growatt SPF 6000 ES Plus inverter (6 kW) with grid assist and a roomy Growatt AXE battery of around 10 kWh — so the house runs on its own solar as much as possible by day and in the evening; whatever the sun and the battery don't cover, the grid tops up. We registered the whole system legally.
