The situation
A detached villa in the woods around Gandía, in the Safor, wanted as much of its own solar as possible for the house and the pool — and the grid bill down sharply.
Our story
How a detached villa in the woods around Gandía came to run on its own solar as much as possible: 8 German glass-glass panels (Sonnenstromfabrik back-contact, ~500 Wp, 4.0 kWp together) with a Growatt SPF 5000 ES inverter and a battery of around 14 kWh (3× Pylontech), so the house and pool run on their own solar by day and in the evening — the grid tops up what 4.0 kWp doesn't cover. Legally registered and handled in your own language.

The challenge
A compact system with a battery on the tiled roof, running the house and pool pump on solar and battery as much as possible by day and in the evening — with the grid as backup, sized to the real consumption and legally registered, so insurance and resale are covered.

Our approach
We fitted 8 Sonnenstromfabrik glass-glass panels of around 500 Wp — German back-contact modules with a 30-year output warranty — flush on the tiled roof, 4.0 kWp together. We tied those to a Growatt SPF 5000 ES inverter (5 kW) with grid assist and a battery bank of 3× Pylontech US5000 totalling around 14 kWh (48 V), so the house and pool run on their own solar as much as possible by day and in the evening; whatever 4.0 kWp and the battery don't cover, the grid tops up. We registered the whole system legally.
