A modern detached villa around the Montgó in Jávea, with a flat roof, large glass and a pool, wanted to be rid of the electricity bill and sure of power for the house, pool, air-conditioning and the electric car — off the grid and away from the grid operator.
Chapter 2
Set up a large, fully self-sufficient system that runs the house, pool and the car on solar and battery, with the panels neatly on mounting frames across the flat roof — sized to the real consumption including the charging, and legalised, so insurance and resale are covered.
Chapter 3
We fitted 40 JA Solar glass-glass panels of 465 Wp, 18.6 kWp together, on mounting frames spread across the flat roof. We tied those to a Growatt WIT 15K-HU off-grid inverter (15 kW, three-phase), a battery bank of 6× Growatt AXE totalling around 28 kWh (48 V) and a smart Growatt THOR charging point (11 kW) that charges from the solar surplus first — together sized for the house, pool, air-conditioning and the car, with reserve for dark days. We legalised the whole system with a proyecto técnico (by an engineer), boletín and registration with Industria.
