A detached villa with a pool in Moraira was already happy to run on solar by day, but in the evening — with the pool and air-conditioning still on — the power came from the grid again. The owners wanted to use their own solar after sundown too.

Run the villa on its own output as much as possible by day and in the evening, with the grid as backup, spread the panels neatly across a tiled roof with several faces, and register it all legally.

We fitted 17 glass-glass panels (JA Solar 465 Wp, 7.9 kWp together) spread across the roof faces, and tied in a Growatt SPF 6000 ES Plus inverter with grid assist and a Growatt AXE battery of around 15 kWh — sized to measure, so the villa runs on its own solar by day and in the evening. The legalisation — memoria técnica, boletín and registration with Industria — and the monitoring we handled in full, in your own language.
