In short: a hybrid that grows with you
Victron is the versatile, rugged brand for anyone who wants more than just panels on the grid. You get a hybrid that grows with you: you start with grid-tied solar, add a home battery later for storage and backup, and grow on — if you want to — to a fully self-sufficient (off-grid) system. And all of it without replacing the inverter. One brand, built to last.
How we offer Victron — four solutions
Victron has a broad programme. We’ve narrowed it down for you to four clear solutions. Based on your home, what you want and how independent you’d like to be, we choose the one that suits you — you don’t need to know the technology.
- 1. Complete and compact — for most homes. Solar power, a home battery and backup, neatly brought together into one whole. The simplest, most compact choice: few separate boxes on the wall and everything perfectly matched. For an ordinary home that wants to store and use its own electricity.
- 2. The grower — start small, expand later. Would you rather start sensibly and only expand when it suits you? Then we begin with grid-tied solar — initially even without a battery — and add a home battery, backup and even full independence later. Without replacing the inverter. So you don’t pay up front for what you’ll only need later.
- 3. Fully self-sufficient — off the grid. Do you live somewhere remote without a (decent) electricity grid, such as a finca inland? Then we build a system that runs entirely on solar and battery, with no grid at all. You’re completely independent.
- 4. Large and bespoke — for villas and big fincas. For large homes, villas and fincas that draw a lot of power, have a heavier connection, want a substantial battery bank, or even a generator as a fallback. This is bespoke work: we scale the system to exactly what your home needs, however large.
Which will it be for you? We decide that together with you — based on your roof, your connection, your consumption and how independent you want to be. And with every solution you keep the door open to expanding later — more panels, more battery — without replacing everything. That’s precisely why we chose Victron.
Why Victron?
- Built to keep working — Victron grew up in the toughest applications (boats, remote sites). You get that ruggedness at home too.
- Always insight, free and for life — through the Victron portal you follow your system remotely (yield, consumption, battery), with no subscription.
- Backup that takes over seamlessly — if the grid drops out, the system switches over in milliseconds.
- Genuinely off-grid capable — with enough battery you run indefinitely on your own power. Few brands can really do that.
The battery, and Spain
Victron works with a home battery that we match to your system. Usually that’s a 48 V battery (low voltage): safe, widely used and suitable from small to fairly large. On some large systems a high-voltage battery can be more efficient — we determine in the design what works best for you. All models are the EU versions, certified to EN 50549 — the standard Spain requires under RD 1699.
Warranty
5 years’ factory warranty on the inverter, and free monitoring for life through the Victron portal. We connect the system, configure it and set the monitoring up.
Who is Victron for?
Victron is the choice if you want a future-proof, independent system: you start small (grid-tied solar) and keep the door open to a battery, backup and full off-grid — without investing in an inverter all over again. Particularly interesting for remote locations, or if you simply want maximum certainty and flexibility. You’re deliberately choosing ruggedness and the freedom to expand later.
What we do for you
We choose the right Victron system for your roof and your connection (single- or three-phase), fit and configure it, and set up the monitoring. And if you want to expand later — a battery, more panels, or heading towards fully off-grid? Then the inverter doesn’t have to be replaced; we’ll arrange the rest.
Going off-grid is the kind of decision where it helps to see one that’s already running. Three are written up in full: an off-grid villa in Altea that runs on its own solar day and night, an off-grid villa in Benidorm with 28 glass-glass panels and a battery, and an off-grid villa near the Montgó in Jávea with 40 panels, a battery and a charging point. If one of them resembles your situation, say so when you get in touch and we’ll walk you through what that job involved — and we can provide references from customers living with a system like it.
